How to brush?
The correct method of brushing is as shown below:
Hold the brush at an angle of 45 degree and brush the entire surface in circular or up down motion	Use the same circular motion brush the inside of the back teeth.
Use the tips of the brush to clean the inner surfaces of the front teeth.	Using a scrubbing motion, clean the chewing surfaces. Also brush your tongue gently or rinse well with water.

Replace your brush when the bristles begin to spread. A worn out toothbrush will not properly clean your teeth.

Is it important to brush before going to bed?
Yes. If you have to miss a brushing, the bedtime one is probably the worst one to miss. If you don't get rid of the bacteria and sugar that cause cavities, they have all night to do harm. While you are awake, saliva helps keep the mouth clean. When you are asleep, there is less saliva produced to clean the mouth. For this reason it is important to brush before bedtime

How to Floss?
Floss at least once a day as shown below to remove plaque between the teeth and gums.

Take approximately 45 cms of the floss and wrap it around the fingers with your thumbs and index fingers, secure it well.	Insert the floss between your teeth. Gently pull & push by pressing it against each side of the tooth. Work the floss to & fro, up & down concentrating below the gum line.
